Every once in a while you might cross paths with people who truly inspire and move you. Jonathan and Janetta are two. Their love transcends their circumstances. A few months after they got married, Jonathan was diagnosed with ALS. I can only imagine that their journey has been a challenging one but their love is so evident and deep - for each other, and for their son Tyson. I am so honored to have had the chance to spend time with their family making this little film and capturing Jonathan's voice before he lost his ability to speak.

This little film captured the Powell family just before they transitioned from a family of four to a family of five. I met Jordan and James when I photographed their wedding several years ago, captured the early years of them becoming parents to gorgeous twin girls and I loved being able to add music, sound and motion to the mix.
